Charlie and Cher

Charlie, Jan Brazwell and I were out at a bar. There was a celebrity Karaoke contest. A man came up to us and begged Charlie to help him out. Seems he was a Cher impersonator and the only song that was available for him to perform was I got you Babe. This guy needed a Sonny. At first Charlie was hesitant. But with lots of prodding from Jan and me he agreed. It came to be their turn on stage. Charlie and the Cher guy slayed. He even had the gestures down pat. And they won. A cruise for two to Bimini. Charlie never took the cruise but he kept the certificate. You may find in his effects not only the cruise certificate but the recording he was given of his award winning duo with the Cher guy. It was epic.
