I know you have much support during this time. That and the passing of time will help. But it does take time. I hope you have a faith that sustains you also. Condolence: It has been a long time since we were kids and teenagers running around the pool deck waiting for John or Michael to "encourage" us to begin warming up. In my own personal moments of trial and stress, I look back on those times as a source of happiness, strength, and inspiration. In my mind's eye, I see a young Carolyn eager to work hard and with a kind word for those around her. I see her smiling with friends, excited to get a best time, and cheering on her friends and teammates.

It is so heartbreaking to hear of Carolyn's (Lina's) passing. She has an indelible place in my memory. She represents my childhood. Condolence: I will always remember Caroline for her smile and her laugh. I remember the NSPA swim meet in Orlando where I had left her time off her entry sheet. She swam her best time to make sure she would be in finals and swam a great race that night. I will always remember her with the Taravella and CSSC swim teams and all the friends she had.
