The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Frances Sheehy can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Two hard working ladies from Iowa

For the last ten years, Fran's law office has been within the RE/MAX ParkCreek office space.  I am a realtor and have been with RE/MAX ParkCreek for the past several years.  Fran's office was just down the hall from mine, and like me, Fran often worked late...well after everyone else was gone.  Whenever I work late and am ready to leave, I call out, "Is anyone else here?".  I'd often here back from Fran, "I'm still here", to which I'd reply, "Okay, I'll leave the lights on for you".  She'd call back, "Thanks", and I'd be gone.  Other nights she'd be calling out to me, "Is anyone else still here?" and the reverse exchange would transpire.  During the day, if we passed each other in the hall,  we'd exchange brief niceties..."How are you doing?"  "Can you believe this weather?"  "Have a nice night".....  I had no idea, like me, Fran grew up in Iowa. I was also unaware we belonged to the same church.  She was a refined and quiet, elegant lady.  I'll miss, "Okay, I'll leave the lights on for you".
