Dear Vini, Joe's passing yesterday, just a few short minutes before I would have started my drive to visit you and him, saddened me. Yet, when I thought of how peacefully he left while you were making your cup of tea it gave me pause to think that was how he wanted you to find him. And, knowing the kind guy he was, I suspect he might have said to himself, "Vini's cup of tea will sooth her sadness when she finds that I've slipped away." Last night I recalled the close friendship he and George had over many years, especially when they played many rounds of golf together.And I recollected about the horrific storm the four of us weathered through at a local pub near Diane & Jerry's second home, as well as our many parties. Vini, there's no doubt in my mind that George will be waiting for Joe on that big golf course above. My sincerest sympathy to you and your family. Barbara
