Condolence: We were so sorry to hear of the passing of Don. He was a fixture in Jamestown, along with Pat, for so many years and served us well as our Mayor. One of my fondest memories of the two of them was during one of the Bean Festivals; the two of them were dancing uptown to the live band. They were doing the jitterbug and they were quite good. Please accept our sincerest sympathies of your great loss. Joe and Hazel Macik

Condolence: Mayor Kolesar was such great patron at the Jamestown Library when I worked there. He was always so appreciative. He was missed when he sold his house and moved to FL. He was a wonderful gentlemen. My condolences to the family.

Condolence: I'm sorry to hear that Mr Kolesar left us. I have a fond memory of him...He married my husband and me shortly after he was elected mayor. I think he was more nervous than I was and Mrs Kolesar stood by his side and helped steady his shaking hand while he read the vows. That makes me smile. They were a wonderful couple.
