Obituary for
Ursula Jean Cortolillo
Ursula "Lee" Jean Cortolillo, 92, of Boca Raton passed away with her family by her side on December 16th, 2017.
Ursula was born in Brooklyn on May 29, 1925.
She attended grammar school at PS 209 and Straubenmuller Textile high school, where she graduated with an education in Interior design. Ursula then went on to work at SWISS bank in NYC, and then with CBS before starting a family with her husband Joseph in 1950.
Ursula has lived in South Florida since 1980.
She returned to work in the Burdines gift wrapping department in The Coral Square Mall until she was 85, when she retired.
Ursula was very energetic and loved to walk everyday to work, and to do errands. She loved to play poker with friends, game shows, black and white and western films, especially RIO BRAVO. Ursula was a wonderful woman, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother always incredibly generous with her time and affection.
Her husband Joseph pre-deceased her in 2000 and son Dennis also in 2003. She is survived by her daughter Deborah, son Gary and brother Anthony. She also leaves behind 9 Grandchildren and 1 great-grandson. She will be missed tremendously by her family.
The wake will be held on Thursday December 21, 2017 at Coral Springs Funeral Home from 4 - 8pm and the funeral services are on December 22, 2017 at 11:30 at Our Lady Queen of Heaven Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in her honor to The Alzheimer's Association www.alz.org
