Phyllis Suzanne Abbatessa-Dwyer 76 of Margate, Fla originally from East Boston, Mass
Survived by her husband Jack Dwyer, son Anthony T Abbatessa III and her loving grandchildren Bruno Antonio and Franco Abbatessa.
Proceeded in death by her late husband Anthony T Abbatessa Jr, son Pvt Philipp J Abbatessa and parents Emilio J and Frances Blase.

Phyllis was born March 14, 1941 to Emilio and Francesca Blase in East Boston, Mass. Attended East Boston High School she was the owner of the Lefty Shop in Faneuil Hall Boston and a retired employee of the Suffolk County Sheriff's Dept in Boston, Mass. She married the late Anthony T Abbatessa Jr and raised 2 sons the late Philipp and Anthony III. She has been married to her husband Jack Dwyer for 31 years.

Phyllis' smile would light up a room she loved to dance with her husband Jack and was the mother to many an officer in the Sheriff's Dept. She was an avid sports fan spending many days in hockey rinks football fields and at track meets and basketball games watching her sons and grandsons play. She was a member of the Italian-American Club here in Margate and in Boston a former Officer in the Sons(daughters) of Italy and Chamber of Commerce.
