Obituary for
Bea D'Angelo
Ana Beatriz D’Angelo passed away in Tamarac, FL on Friday, May 12, 2017, after a long battle with Leukemia.
Born in Bogota Columbia, she became an accountant and worked for a major automobile company for almost 20 years. She decided to come to the United States in 1968 and settled in Queens, NY, continuing to work as an accountant. She was transferred to New Jersey where she settled for many years, eventually retiring to Florida.
Her major passion was her extensive collection of beautiful figurines.
She is survived by her husband of 31 years, Jimmy D’Angelo, her step-daughter Nancy Schliwka with her husband Michael and children Nicole and Dillon.
She is also survived by her nephew Francisco Calderon, his wife Monica, children Lina Maria and Nicolas, as well as many other relatives in Columbia and the US.
A public visitation will be held at Coral Springs Funeral Home on Monday May 15, 2017 from 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM. The wake service will begin at 7:00 PM
A mass will be celebrated for Ana at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton church on Tuesday May 16, 2017 at 10:00 AM.
