Obituary for Benigna Jackson

Benigna  Jackson
Benigna Jackson, 93, of Miami Lakes, Florida, passed away on Good Friday, April 14th 2017.

Benigna was born on July 23rd 1923 in Monsefu, Peru. She later moved to Lima, Peru where she opened and managed her own textile business. Upon retirement she relocated to Miami Lakes, Florida to be near her family. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend; and took tremendous care of her entire family. She will be remembered for her kindness of heart, her delicious gourmet Peruvian cooking, her flair for gardening, her love for entertaining and her strength of spirit.

Benigna was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Jackson. Left behind to cherish her memory are her children, Jack (Migdalia) Jackson of Miami Lakes, Frank (Patricia) Jackson of Coral Springs, Wilfried (Linda) Jackson of Coral Springs, Johanna (Randall) Lobaugh of Miramar and daughter Jenny. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Joseph Garofolo, Andrew, Blake, Brandon, Brian, Frank Jr. (Stephanie), Jack Jr., and Nichole Jackson, Bridgette and Jonathan Valdez. In addition, she has many loving extended family relatives living in Lima, Peru.

Visitation will be held at Coral Springs Funeral Home on Thursday April 20th 2017 from 6-9pm, as well as Friday April 21st 2017 from 9:30-11am. A service will be held at 11am, followed by burial at Evergreen Cemetery at 1pm.
