Sylvia Delores Berbick, age 71 Coral Springs ,Fl passed away on Thursday, Feb 23 2017. She was born to the late Albert Rowe and Rebecca Rowe on November 4, 1945 in Port Antonio Jamaica, WI.
Sylvia attended schools in Jamaica and upon moving to the United States, she completed her CNA Certification and worked at Amsterdam Nursing Home in Manhattan for over 25 years until her retirement 10 years ago.

Family and friends were Sylvia’s passion and delight. She grew up spending time in Jamaica with her 12 brothers and sisters along with many close friends, In-laws and other extended relatives. She vacationed with her sister's, Erica, Maxine, Grizelda and brother in-law Worthen and her children and grandchildren often. She loved to host and entertain frequently while residing in the Bronx, NY. She had many house parties at her house. For several years, Sylvia would visit her daughter and grandchildren in NJ, where she enjoyed her weekends in Sparta, NJ. She made many lifelong friends there. She was very active in her children and grandchildrens lives and would often attend their sporting events. She enjoyed traveling to Europe and spent many summers in Florida where she eventually bought her home.

Sylvia is survived by her husband Keith Berbick her children: daughters Annette, Latoya and her husband Wesley Jernigan , Sons Colin and his wife Andrea, Leroy and his fiancee Robin and Boyd and his wife Nicole, her two sisters Maxine and her husband Roy, Erica and her husband Werton and Russell and his wife Dorothy. Her grandchildren Earl, Leroy, Chad, Deran, Bianca, Brianna, Ashley, LaToya, Halle, Lynnden and Elaina and her great grandson Jaydin. She also leaves behind numerous loving relatives, In-laws and friends.

Sylvia requested a small private funeral. The family wishes to thank all of those who cared for her during her last few years Dayscape Adult Dayscape Center in Coconut Creek Florida & Mediterranean Comfort.
