Obituary for
Vital Lacombe
Vital Lacombe, age 76, passed away suddenly at his Tamarac residence on Sunday, September 18th, 2016.
He was born on November 4th, 1939 in Cavaillon, Haiti. He was raised by Tessier and Marie Lacombe, and step-mother Souvenise Lacombe née Lapointe.
In his early years, Vital was a school teacher at a Christian Mission in Aux Cayes, Haiti as well as a tech for Service National D’erdication Of Maleria. He would then meet and marry Saintalia Lozama and move to the United States in 1975.
Vital is a born again Christian, who enjoyed listening to various genres of music, singing, sports, politics, reading, the beach, and being with his grandchildren. He was a strong supporter of higher education, always being informed and knowledgeable in all things.
Vital is survived by his Daughters: Vedna Karen Heywood (James III), Joycy Ann Lacombe, Doris Kara Brown (Larry), and Linda Joseph. Grandchildren: Isaiah, Eden, Belle, James IV, Eli, and Levi. His brothers, Frank, and Lelio, his sister, Brunia,and numerous nieces, nephews, and Godchildren. He was preceded in death by parents, step-mother, and one daughter.
Visiting hours will be held on Friday, September 23, 2016 from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at Coral Springs Funeral Home. Homegoing services will be held at 10:00am, on Saturday September 24th, 2016, at Church by the Glades in Coral Springs, FL, with Pastor Tom Albright officiating. His burial will immediately follow the Going Home Service at Bailey Memorial Gardens in North Lauderdale, FL.
