Obituary for
David A. Taylor
David A. Taylor, a long-time resident of Coral Springs, FL was born in Port Colborne, Ontario, Canada on July 4, 1940. He relocated to Florida in 1965 and proudly became an American citizen. He married his soul mate, love of his life, and best friend, Rose, in 1988. He was a selfless and faithful husband, father, and grandfather.
He served his customers for four decades in the pool service industry with gratitude, fairness, and workmanship pride. “Papa,” as his grandchildren affectionately called him, was an avid reader, a student of American and World history, a passionate Florida Panthers fan, and a master restorer of vintage steamer trunks. He will be remembered for his great integrity, humility, genuineness, loyalty, and kindness, which he benevolently instilled in his children and grandchildren.
He is survived by his loving wife of 28 years, Rose Taylor; children, Paulette, John, and Catherine; grandchildren, Vincent, Mark, Jonathan, Amanda, and Alexander; siblings Tom, Greg, and Ellen; and three children, David, Nancy, and Andrew along with five grandchildren from a previous marriage.
Memorial services to celebrate his remarkable life and uniting with our Lord, will be held at Mary Help of Christians Roman Catholic Church at 10:30am on Wednesday June 15th, 2016.
The family would like to thank everyone who has been reaching out to help during this very sad time. Memorial donations would be greatly accepted and sent to Coral Springs Funeral Home, in care of Rose Taylor, 1420 N. University Drive, Coral Springs, FL 33071.
